Join the future of retail in SoHo, New York City. Perfumarie has openings for part-time and full-time Studio Associates for immediate placements. As the first point of contact for our company, you will work as a team to provide incredible service to our members as our ambassadors.

+ Greet guests. Guide and conduct tours/orientations.
+ Create a memorable experience for the guests. 
+ Learn and become experts of our brands; answer visitors’ questions about all products within our home. 
+ Handle routine sales transactions which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales. 
+ Assist with display and stocking of retail items and scents.
+ Maintaining the cleanliness of our studio.
+ Aid in visual merchandising and point of sale materials.
+ Answering phones, chats, providing directions, etc.
+ Assist with hospitality special events as needed. 
+ Represent us at outside functions as needed. 
+ Attend and host training sessions; Acquire and maintain thorough product knowledge at all times. 
+ Some technical work as required.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by the management team. 

+ A passion for fragrance, food, psychology, and/or all things sensory.
+ Prior experience in scent, spirits, hospitality, retail, or flavor is helpful.
+ Commitment to excellence and high standards. 
+ Reliable, honest, with strong work ethics.
+ Proficient on the computer.
+ Excellent oral communication skills. 
+ A team player with a positive attitude is essential.
+ Excellent presentation skills. 
+ Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills. 
+ Ability to manage priorities and workflow. 
+ Professional appearance and demeanor.

+ Demonstrated the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages. 
+ Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions. 

+ Must be available to work on weekends.
+ Must be able to bend, squat, climb, push, stoop and crouch repeatedly if required.
+ Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods as required by job duties.
+ Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs on a regular basis.
+ Must be able to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
+ Must live in New York City.

+ Minimum of 25-30 hours/week.
